This photo was taken on the western part of the Ocean Springs beach, nearest to the remains of the Ocean Springs Bridge. Although Ocean Springs suffered minimum damages compared to the total destruction of its neighbor cities in Biloxi and Gulfport. Although most of the OS beach is made of sand, this particular section is lined with oyster shells.
